Observations: on spaces that listen for wind

In midsummer, wild grasses are the most sensitive wind instruments in the landscape, each awn fine enough to capture what a leaf would miss, showing the difference between still air and the lightest moving one. This is what wind looks like when it cannot otherwise be seen: an entire field of thin stems bending in the same direction.
The human body feels the most subtle wind too; a perception that combines direction, temperature, and intensity. Orienting rooms towards the breeze is welcoming an invisible yet substantial presence indoors, and with it the faceted sensation it offers.
